A syndicate sub-committee of the Calicut University has proposed to allow college teachers take up research guideship in research centers other than the colleges they are working.
The committee has recommended withdrawing the clause in the existing CU Research Regulation which insist that college teachers can become research supervisors only in the existing center in the colleges they are providing their services in.
